The term paper entitled “determination “as seen in Things Fall Apart “psychological “ study has stepped in three chapters highlighted by a general introduction and ending now in the present general conclusion. The first chapter entitled” the study of characters”, this chapter has put an emphasis on two studies; such as physical and psychological studies of characters. The core is that, the physical study of characters has focused on the study of characters that are visible, touchable, weak, or strong by their ways of working or acting physically. Whereas, the psychological study of characters has shown what is in the mind of characters through their actions .the picture they bear about life according to the Ibo culture.
