TRAITEMENT DU PASSIF DANS LES LANGUES BANTU : L’EXEMPLE DU KISONGYE

Résumé Le passif a été étudié dans la littérature linguistique comme résultat de transformation par permutation, notamment dans la théorie standard de Chomsky (1971) à partir de la théorie du mouvement analysé dans celles des principes et des paramètres. Le passif a été conçu et expliqué en terme de NP « mouvement » il ne s’agira plus de permutation mais du mouvement du NP hors de sa position d’origine vers une position initiale dans la phrase. Cet article est une application de cette nouvelle manière d’appréhender le passif dans les langues bantou en l’occurrence de Kisongye enfin de prouver d’avantage l’universalité de la grammaire générative. Abstract The passive has been studied in the linguistic literature as a result of transformation by permutation, notably in Chomsky's standard theory (1971) from the theory of movement analyzed in those of principles and parameters. The passive has been conceived and explained in terms of NP "movement"; it is no longer a question of permutation but of the movement of the NP or from its original position to an initial position in the sentence. This article is an application of this new way of understanding the passive in Bantu languages, in this case Kisongye, in order to further prove the universality of generative grammar.
